  Directions: Each passage is followed by questions based on its content. After reading   a passage, choose the best answer to each question and fill in the corresponding   space on the answer sheet.

  Do you like to play outside? Do you like to run? Do you like to play with a ball? You can do all of these things if you play soccer.  Soccer players cannot throw and catch the ball. Hi, Li Ming,  Today was the first day of school. I am in Grade Seven this year. I have a new school. It’s big! There are 360 students. Every grade has four classes. There are 20 students in my class.  School is different this year.  This year, school begins at 8:30. Last year, school began at 8:45.  Last year, I had one teacher. This year, I have many teachers. Every teacher has a different classroom. We go from room to room for our classes. It’s good exercise!  On Wednesday, my cousin Brian arrives from the UK. He will live with my family this year.
